CallXpress Voicemail System
IT Services will be commissioning a new CallXpress voicemail system soon. The new system will allow longer voice message storage, similar user prompts, and eventual integration with our email environment.
New Voicemail Phone Number
303-724-6245 (4-MAIL)
This new number replaces the old 303-315-3140 voicemail number, which will retire on July 1, 2007
Three prompt differences:
- To bypass a voicemail greeting, use # instead of *.
- Dial *# to get to the "Please enter mailbox number" prompt when logging in from a campus extension that is not your own phone. This allows you to log into the voicemail system from any phone on campus. On the old system, the prompt was #.
- If you get a party's greeting on a transferred call, dial *9 to get back to the original party and drop voicemail. On the old system, the prompt was 99.
